Thornfest – 100 Bands In 4 Days!

At the end of the month, Thornrose are hosting a rock festival of note! Here are the details:
Where – Route 28 Resort, Jagfontein (+- 50 km from JHB north)
When – 27th – 31st January 2010

Bands – Well, there are 100 bands playing, but here are some of the highlights – Chromium, Knave, Visus, Agro, Seven Year Kismet (UK), Fuzigish, Beyond the Pale, Emperium, The Frail, The Dead Will Tell, Cutting Jade, Pestroy, Fokofpolisiekar, Facing the Gallows, Deity’s Muse, Deane Crescent, Contrast the Water, Bloodline Ltd, Hog Hoggidy Hog – well you get the idea!

Other attractions – Sumo wrestling, beer tents, food stalls, fashion, merchandise stalls, drinking games, movie theatre, extreme sports, swimming, comedy, DJ’s, fire dancers, wet t- shirt competitions, tattoo’s, bull rides, guitar hero, and so on!

Tickets:
Normal Ticket: R300 (1st November – 28th January 2010).
Tickets at the Gate: R350
1 day ticket: R200 (only available on Sat, 30th January 2010).
VIP: R450 (limited to 2000)
