Margate get ready for Mix n Blend: DJ and Straatligkinders

The vibe yesterday at Margate beach was rocking and we are confident that today it will be even better, cause South Africa is now in a festive mood and the Comes with Music party bus is adding to the fun on the beach in Margate.

First up today will be Mix n Blend: DJ at 11:00 – here is a preview of what you can expect to hear, recorded on Saturday in Toti http://www.youtube.com/NokiaConnectZA#p/a/u/1/Cg-IufsaOqY – ElectroTrash.co.za recently reviewed Mix n Blend’s new album ‘Look Mom no Hands’ – The album is, as they say, genre busting…Even though the album is a mix of different sounds and influences it blends together rather well, forming a coherent entity that is a joy to listen to http://www.electrotrash.co.za/2009/11/17/album-review-mix-n-blend-look-mom-no-hands/ – Their track ‘Shall We Swing (feat. Fletcher)’ will be given away FREE at the bus today – don’t forget to pick up your band postcard!

Straatligkinders, will be performing at 15:00, they walked away most recently with Best Alternative and Best Gospel Album awards at the 2009 Rapport Vonk Awards for their album ‘Sweef Soos ‘n Vuishou’ – the awards evening held in October, was the first time I saw them in action live and I’ve been a fan ever since – the album is amazing and highly recommended! To download it from the Nokia Music Store visit http://music.nokia.co.za/IE/Product.aspx?id=OD2DI6756733 If you pop by the Comes with Music bus today – don’t forget to pick up your Straatligkinders postcard, which will give you access to their FREE track give-away ‘Die Relevansie van Vriendskap’.

This is the last day that we will be in KwaZulu Natal – the Comes with Music bus heads off to P.E. to start the party there on Thursday.

Don’t miss the bus! See you there…. http://music.nokia.co.za/comeswithmusic
